SmartStV3 and ROM

My ipaq3970 is 64MB RAM / 48MB ROM but when I asked navman if SmartStV3 run in my ppc they said NO because "The Version 3 software will only work with PDA's that have a minimum 64Mb
ROM, due to the 3D mapping.". Anyone tried it in 48MB ROM PPC?

I have V3 running on my iPAQ 3970 with a BT GPS receiver. The iPAQ has 64Mb RAM, split 32Mb each for storage and app. memory. I don't think the size of the ROM is an issue, to be honest, as the software won't, if I'm correct, use ROM.
