yes, thoes are the most recent map cuts.
This doesn't mean much, though. Newer compiles are not necessarily better maps (although one should hope that's the case) _________________ Lutz

I have UK 314 and it's better that nothing. If it was 95% accurate - that's way above what I am!

I have just bought the European maps. France and Great Britain are both v398. I have not checked the rest of Europe yet. Hope this helps. Phil |

These threads on Go map versions are getting tiring; the issue has been debated at length, the situation is imperfect, but you get whatever is in your package and that's it.
The only way to get 39x maps if you have 31x is to buy a new map set, such as Go Maps of Western Europe, and see if the CDs contain 39x mapping.
For a fuller explanation, click here. TomTom do not offer 39x maps to those who have 31x maps.
I expect within a few months that this will be a non-issue, as I expect TomTom will launch some kind of map upgrade for Go. However, you do not get map upgrades for free; I can only think of one instance where this has happened, and that was because the geodata supplier and the navigation software company agreed that the original maps were seriously flawed. This is not the case with the Go maps.

No you haven,t.
There should be an update later this year,,,,,, but you'll probably have to PAY for the privalage.,and it won't be downloadable, it will be on CD, or SD card. _________________ Using an A to Z

This is not quite true...
I had one of the first UK TomTom Gos and obviously i got V3.14 Maps. I busted my CD (quite accidently) and needed to reload the maps. I raised a support case and sent them my broken CD via courier (at their expense) i then recieved by return a new CD with GB V3.90 maps on it. It activated the same way as the original and i was sorted. I thought TomTom were very efficient and helpful throughout the process.
I am not suggesting that this is the way to get a free upgrade, and i was not interested in an updated version of the map. just a replacement for what i had. I still haven't found any differences either. |
