if someone takes your nav system is there know way of tracking it, I cant see why as the satellite can pin point your location. so if it can pin point where you are then you should be able to track down where your nav is gone and get it back. |

IN short , no it can't. As the GPS nav systems are only a receiver not a Transmitter

Unfortunately not a lot of help with this particular case but my Home contents insurance is with First Direct and covers me for loss or accidental damage away from home, including in the car.
Recently Kn*****d the screen on my Ipaq, only thing I can think is that I damaged it when I put it in glove box on wifes car.
Rang and told them this and they say it is covered under "accidental damage" clause
