Hi there !
I have here the 4 CD's for "Maps' Of Western Europe".
The CD 3 is containing Italy. But I see the following on the install screen :
Italy (195 MB)
Piemonte (66 MB)
Veneto (66 MB)
Toscana (66 MB)
Campania (69 MB)
Alpen (185 MB)
I'd like to know if the "Italy" (195 MB) is containing more or less details, compared to the segmentmaps of 66 MB ?!? |

I would think the detail is the same. I bought my GO in Germany and it came with maps of Germany, Austria, Switzerland and the Alps. But there is a big overlap between all these maps, and I would imagine the same is true of your Italian maps. |

I have also noted that there appears to be a later version of the UK map on the CD set...
My tomtom go came with v390 maps and the uk map on the Maps of Western Europe CD set appears to be v398....
Not sure what the updates are but there you go... |

Looking at the centre spindle info on the cds...
the original uk map (v390) on the TTG cd was pressed on 23/08/2004
The UK cd in the Maps of Western Europe CD set was pressed on 04/11/2004.

v390 and v398 are identical map data. Only difference is that v398 are add-on maps. But for GO that makes no difference. |

what are the latest product dates for the France maps - both on CD and on chip???
Are they likely to update them prior to the main holiday season? (June - September)
If so how can we get them? _________________ Happy to meet -- Sorry to part -- Happy to meet again |
