Is there something along the lines of the iTrip transmitter that could be used with a TomTom Go so you could hear the voice prompts through the speakers, without having to 'plumb' it in? |

I've noticed that if I go into "Sound preference" then there is an option called "Mute car radio" with a checkbox, though presumably this doesn't do much as I'm not aware of a method of linking TT Go to the stereo. However, I guess this would be possible in a similar way to a mobile phone hands free kit...

The professional mounting kit is imminent; this will apparently allow connection to a a car stereo in the way you suggest. |
