I honestly don't know as to whether or not you have enough memory available, but you should be warned on transfer if you haven't. Regarding actually installing the database, have you fully followed the revised instructions here? _________________ Tim |

thank you tim - i have actually read through the instructons you signposted me to, all is well until i reach stage 7 'enter name for POI file' - its at this point (after a little pause) that I receive the message ' no POIs in the input file??? - i dont receive the transfer message either, i assume its due to the above problem - so frustrating as i really would like to download this feature. when trying to download, i have my navman hooked on to my pc via the usb cable and all is turned on, is this the right procedure? advice by all most welcome.

Which file did you try to import, and was it the XLS or CSV file ? |

...and let me guess, you've then re-saved it in Excel ?
As per the instructions, you need to do this in Notepad, otherwise it will change the file format if your not careful and will create the problems you are experiencing when importing it. |

thank you so much dave - this put me on thr right track and i feel sure i have downloaded correctly. the download told me what memory i had avaialbe and i subsequently downloaded. it told me to check my navman software to make sure, i did, it is now sitting on my 128 meg card in my 'my pois' - which i ticked for what i am sure was to activate - will try out tomorrow. by the way great site. i'm hooked'
