Hi All
Newbie here, be gentle. I have had my TTG for a few months now and successfully downloaded the Safety Cam database. What I now want to do is use a new SD card 512mb. Can someone give me step by step instructions of how to do this. Also I read somewhere that you have to change the card to FAT whatever that is, how and when is this done.
Thanx
Roy

It's pretty simple. Put your existing card in a card reader, and copy all of it's contents onto your PC's hard disk (including the directory structure)

Then replace the SD card in the reader with your new card, format it with FAT16 (unless it's already formatted and empty) and then copy the data back from the hard disk to the new SD card.

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately I do not have a card reader. Is it possible to do without one?

Can't you just connect your TT Go to your computer via the cable, then transfer all the files onto your computer, then switch cards and transfer all the original files onto that card?

Does anyone know if a 1GB or even a 2GB card will work with the TT Go? That's if either sized cards are available.

I don't know if that will work, but I dont want to try it until an "expert" says that it will.

It wouldn't be a problem if you were to copy the files to your computer from your original card then to your new card, will it?

yes, if you have the appropriate cable (USB to Mini USB) then you can connect the GO directly to the computer (and abuse the GO as a card reader).

I can confirm that the GO works fine with a 1GB SD card (the US version of the GO comes with one by default)
