Hi and welcome to PGPSW forums.
Please tell us your Android version and phone type. That info may or may not help. |

Presumably you have tried the obvious? Uninstall, reinstall, reboot phone etc. |

Simply because “CamerAlert works” isn’t newsworthy :-) _________________ Dennis

Why are a lot of threads in CA news? Seemed like as good a place to post as any. |

That would seem reasonable. |

Why do people find fault so much. I hate it when they’re unanimous - why can’t we have some biguity? Or be pedamous? _________________ Dennis

Is it installing to the SD card or internal memory?
Are there any Android updates available for your device?
I seem to recall an issue with Android 6.0.1 that stopped CamerAlert from working but with the 6.1 update it resolved whatever issue caused it.

|
|
So I'm a long term user of the App, but it now refuses to work, the app just states CamerAlert keeps stopping. Have reinstalled it, but I get a message stating "This app was built for an older version of Android and may not work properly. Try checking for updates or contact the developer". Obviously there are no updates, so the App just crashes.
This is on a Samsung Galaxy S10+ running Android 10, any help would be greatly appreciated. |

This is your problem as CA doesn't appear to work on Android 10, on a Samsung S10 unfortunately.... |

Thanks for your reply. Actually it's PocketGPS's problem, as I am cancelling my subscription as its due for renewal in 2 weeks time. Shame as I've been using the App for years. |

It's your loss to lose arguably the most accurste database available.
Use SpeedTrap Alert instead, that is an Android app that uses the PGOSW database _________________ DashCam:
