And my super expensive built in Renault R-Link TomTom is still only running v1011. _________________ Dennis

They are still offering map Europe 45 countries, v1011 for £50, which I bought on 25th November 2018 (as soon as it was released).
On 7th April, I bought their map update service which they had just introduced - I reasoned that £105 for three years update service which they posted as up to 12 new maps over three years is a bargain. However, they still haven't issued even one new map since last November (and as v1011 that was already several months out of date!), so the bargain looks less bargainy by the passing months! At this rate, I'll be getting two maps over the three years and paying £5 over the odds for them!!! _________________ Dennis

Renault Connected Services help says I have the latest map and the update service “up to 12 new maps in three years” does not necessarily mean 4 a year and does not necessarily mean 12 in three years, only “up to”.
I have been unable to convince them that my two TT devices are telling me different instructions to what the built in one tells me. I don’t suppose that’ll go on for long though - my nav2 GO520 is really dying, doesn’t stay conscious for a full day out and my top of the range () GO6200 is fast approaching end of life - yesterday over 100 miles from home it said “power disconnected, I’m off!” and refused to revive until I got home. So I was reliant on the wonderful built in thingy with v1011 map. _________________ Dennis
