Sharing camera data
Get permission first.
I did it once, with permission, and I was advised to supply a sample GPI file with a very small number of cameras near the user who had issues. _________________ DashCam:

PGPSW speed camera and general POIs load and work in the 2017 Drive range.
All Garmin has done is move them into a new folder called Driver Assistance (alerts) - they show there under Proximity Alerts. Clicking through takes you to the Audio or Alerts sub-menu and in Alerts it shows Garmin Safety Cameras and Custom POIs, click through this and the categories are listed including the PGPSW camera files individually by type (Gatso, Mobile, Specs etc...). _________________ DriveLuxe 51 LMT D - Firmware 6.80

Ignore my request in the other thread.
So I wonder why the other owner had issues ? Presumably POIloader does it's business correctly and uses the new location.
It also, yet again, proves that Garmin Support is useless. That quote about "I'll ask the manager" was probably a ploy for the agent to go and put the kettle on then tell you they were no longer supported. _________________ DashCam:

That thread is HERE In which sealion now has the cameras fully working and that it was a corrupt sox.exe that was causing his problem.
So Garmin CS wrong yet again.
Fingers crossed. I have down loaded all the files on to my driveluxe 50, after following Kremmens dummy notes although in the programme files sox is sox and not sox.exe, and in the folder i created no wav files?

Further to my last, if your computer is not showing some/all file extensions and your OS is Windows 10, then open Explorer (Not Internet Explorer) (Start ~ This PC or Start ~ Computer or Start ~ My Computer whatever.), select the View tab and check the Filename extensions. The route to this setting is different for different versions of Windows, but it's there in all of them.
By default, Windows does not show extensions for 'Known extensions', but instead shows the program with which they are associated. i.e. A *.csv file will show up as an Excel file. (often less than helpful as in this case) It's not an excel file at all, it's a Comma Separated Values file, a test file with a line of values separated by commas, that Windows has associated with Excel, but it will open (with less risk to file integrity) in any old text editor.
Hi M8tjt, thanks for that I have deleted everything and started again.
So far it looks good I have wav files so I am expecting voice alerts when I go out later.
I will keep you all in the loop
