I have a Ford Focus Titanium 2014 model with a built in sat nav, I normally use my portable TomTom, but tried the built in one which I found very fiddly to use, (it is not a touch screen) because when putting in a destination you have to scroll along the letters then press ok button when you get to it.
There are Points of Interest already installed, but you have to scroll through the categories to find what you want.
There is also a favourite category.
There was also spoken traffic warnings via Bluetooth on the mobile phone, on the map it would highlight the road in red where there was traffic delays and would speak out congestion ahead and speak out the speed of the traffic involved, even spoken warnings of accidents ahead, which I found very helpful.
There was no warnings for speed cameras, not sure if I could put any on it, because I don't know what system it is, it can be updated but never tried because I heard it is very expensive, there is an SD card with the map on it.
I still prefer my TomTom even though it kept falling over and off the dashboard.

Go out and buy an OSOMount thing - mine has stuck on the (orange peel finish) dashboard since I first put it there three years ago. It has come unstuck twice. Which I class as never, seeing as how it's done almost 170,000 miles. Won't work with any specialised TT mount though.

I found that the suction mount was affected by temperature, it came unstuck when cold, but stayed secure while car was at normal warm temperature.
So I bought a Navitech dashboard friction mount, it holds the sat nav in a clamp like hold, it is non slip so rests on the dashboard, although I put a non slip under it to make sure it doesn't move and it doesn't, so no more falling sat nav, would recommend it.
