It is now.
I had to make the same change which involves forcing a Working Directory set upon first install. _________________ DashCam:

Well I'm still completely perplexed ...
I deleted all working folders, camera folders, downloaded files etc and started from scratch. Just downloaded and created a new file and installed it onto my satnav. The two cameras that were coming up correctly on my 2508 as 50mph still do so. The cameras that BaseCamp was previously incorrectly reporting are still being incorrectly reported, one shows up as 164704#70 and one as 172935#40 so are shown as 70 and 40mph respectively and not 50mph. Both show correctly as 50mph when you view them via the PGPSW website
I cannot see how this could possibly be happening unless somehow both cameras are duplicated in the data that I've just downloaded from PGPSW, one with the incorrect speed and one with the correct one?? _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Suss,
Those two camera numbera are not duplicated in my copy of the latest PGPSW download - I've looked.
If you open the .csv file in Excel and search for the camera numbers - they are only there once. In fact there are now no Redspeed seventies left at all.
You were right that Basecamp can read them from the device.
So now I can see on my Basecamp screen the two cameras with red Fifty icons, plus the old ones with blue flag icons labelled #40 and #70 (these being the ones I imported into Basecamp from some old gpx files).
Is it possible you've got an old .gpi file kicking around in your device or on its SD card, perhaps.

Kremmen suggested that you delete the cameras off the Garmin and then see if the rogues are still there. I don't really know what he is talking about as I haven't used basecamp, but he says that the cams displayed in BC come from the Garmin.
Because the cams that you mention have got a # in them, it seems that they have been through CSV - GPX Converter at some time so must be lurking on your computer somewhere that POI Loader is finding. Unless you have two cam GPI files on the Garmin or they are lurking in a user POI GPI somewhere.
Just a thought. |

@dales
No, because BaseCamp is also reading the file from a cloned device which only has that specific file on it. When I do a BaseCamp search the cameras 164704#50 and 172935#50 don't show, even though they do on my 2508 when I do a where to, custom POIs, instead in BaseCamp I only get 172935#40 and 164704#70. At the very least if there was another file somewhere both should show up in the BaseCamp search box.
I did the search just to see if one camera was hiding another one in BaseCamp but that simply isn't the case. IF there was another file hiding somewhere then both, as said above, should have shown up in the BaseCamp search.
It is crazy but at least my device works correctly
Here's a link to the file if anyone wants to play https://www.dropbox.com/s/cj93gvzb9100puc/PGPSW.gpi?dl=0 _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Good thought but before I reloaded K's convertor I searched and stripped out everything connected with it, all .gpi files etc etc
This one has really got me stumped _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

My thought was to strip the PND of the cameras gpi file then launch BC. Theoretically there should be no cameras showing in BC.
Test - remove all gpx files except for the 'fifty' one and use POILoader. All you should find in BC is 50mph cams.
Process of elimination. If they come back as 40 and 70 then we can dig deeper _________________ DashCam:

When I do a Basecamp search for the camera number, I get
Gatso 172935#50 under Points of Interest (from the Garmin), and
Gatso 172935#40 under User Data (from the old .gpx files).
I take it that your rogues are listed under Points of Interest.

Correct, nothing shows, only when I load the gpi file I linked to above _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

This may seem a stupid suggestion but it isn't Garmin's camera data getting hauled in off your PND by any chance? |

Nope, no Garmin camera files for years. Only gpi present is the one I linked to above. If I delete it nothing shows in BaseCamp, if I put it back BaseCamp shows the incorrect speeds. _________________ Where there's a will ... there's a way. |

Under normal cicumstances Garmin holds the cams in filenames with numbers and the internal info is @50.
I wonder if the 'fifty' and #50 is giving it a headache.
Process a plain csv file through POILoader and see what happens. _________________ DashCam:

Suss,
I downloaded your .gpi file and loaded it into my Garmin and everything is correct.
The cameras are both #50 on the device and also when shown in Basecamp.
I can tell they are truly your cameras, because your redspeed icon is different from mine.
