I suspect its more like on that occasion he got lucky ... Wink

Or rather traffic coming the other way got lucky Shocked

Note even driving on blue lights you don't have an exemption to cross solid whites ... They are there for a reason.

Not my experience of unmarked cars on the A21 which is one of the reasons I bought a dashcam!

Technically they have no exemption, so if they do even on blue lights they are not authorised to do so. However the normal highway code exemptions apply as they do to all traffic.
