Following last months map update on my 1005, I get no route possible when using Bristol Parkway as a destination. Is this just my problem? |

I've had that message occasionally but its usually because the destination is inaccessible.
Are you getting this message because :-
1. You are typing 'Navigate to Bristol Parkway'
or
2. You are navigating to a point on the map?
If (1.) have you tried 'Navigate to Temple Meads' to see if that works.
If (2.) have you tried moving the destination to the main road where the car park is?

Parkway has been in my favourites for years. I've tried using the favourite and selecting it as a POI; to no avail. It tells me no route is possible even when I'm about to reach the station.
Could someone else check please? |

Bristol Parkway is a TomTom POI and my GO1005 will navigate to it.
I guess your favourite has somehow got into gobbledygook. Delete it and create a new favourite, using the TT POI as the location - I've just done that and it works (added favourite, then navigate to favourite). _________________ Dennis

I have tried using the TT POI, as well as my saved favourite, with the same effect. I will try street addresses for both the front and back entrances and may, I suppose, have to use one of those at the favourite if either works. |

I'm sorry, but this was so easy...
Settings
Favourites
Add...
POI...
Now the only thing is finding Bristol Parkway amongst TomTom's POIs, but it was easy enough, selected it and that was job done. _________________ Dennis

I saw a guy with a whippet at Bristol Parkway around eleven this morning; was it you? |
