After downloading the latest maps from Tom Tom it removes the speed camera files from the "warn when near POI" and I have to go through them all and re-flag them. Is there anyway round this? |

Do you have a Windows Explorer (or Mac Finder) backup copy?
If so, you need to copy the file Mapsettings.cfg from your computer backup to the 910 map folder (that's the folder called Europe or similar, not the folder called map/s).
If you haven't got a backup, there's nothing you can do except reconfigure all your settings. _________________ Dennis

You need to copy and paste the mapsettings.cfg file from the map BEFORE updating the new map. Once all done just copy the file back into the map each time and it works fine. You will need to see if the old copy of the file is in your TomTom folder on your hard drive and copy it from there.
There is an old strand here that does explain this ... had the same problem myself a few years ago.
Nice to see another TT910 still going strong too.

I just copy the file into the existing folder on the TT. It changes the name to MapSettings-Copy.cfg then I rename it after the new map is loaded. _________________ Garmin Drive 51LMT-S EU
