Hi
Got a Mazda 3 with built in Mazda NVA-SD8110. Last week at some point, it seems the GPS was 'reversed', ie when travelling north, the TomTom thought I was going south, when travelling east it thought I was going west etc. A couple of days later that problem seemed to resolve itself, ie the TomTom now knows which direction I'm travelling in.
However, the map now seems to be offset by a few miles, I'm guessing by the amount it was out before the reversing problem sorted itself out. Has anyone experience anything like this previously, or have any suggestions how to resolve it? I've done a factory reset, which hasn't done anything (other than lose my favourites)...
Interestingly, my wife drives a Mazda 5 with the NVA-SD8110 and had the same problem last year - hers just started working properly again after a couple of weeks...
Thanks

Update - after updating the SD card in TomTom Home (the program, not the map), it seems to be working again... When I first put the SD card back in the car it still had the wrong map position, however after a couple of minutes faffing about (setting the time etc) it was back to normal... |

Possibly another case of the wrong data being supplied by quickgpsfix, which has now been corrected by a fresh download? _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]
