Is there any particular reason why the 'Tick if seen again box' doesn't always seem to show up. I needed to hit it this morning but it wasn't there. |

Was the camera 'attacking' you? i.e. was it one o your side of the road or the other side?
If it was on the other side you would have to go into list view to see the tick/cross.
Also, you can always tap the camera icon and do a manual 'seen again' if, for any reason, the tick/cross don't display.

Probably completely off topic, and I don't understand how it works.
But if CA is in the background when I am running Navigon, then the tick / cross box never comes up. That only shows when CA is up front with no other app running. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

In iOS you would get an alert pop up with a button to press saying 'confirm' - this launches the app and allows you to then tap the tick/cross.
In Android you would need to put CA to the foreground (press and hold Home button to get recent apps, select CA) then once there you could do the tick/cross stuff

In Android you can also pull down the notification bar and then tap on the entry for CamerAlert. _________________ Lutz

Going to give both a try - using Android. Have a couple of 'tame' cameras on good stretches of road and just going to drive up and down a couple of times until I find the right method for ease of use.
Mostly / almost always have CA in background, so that's going to be the tester. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

hi,
with CA running in the background on my android phone using tomtom satnav, are there ever any times when the audible warnings from CA clash with any voice directions or any other audible alerts from tomtom?
thanks!! _________________ www.SoundCloud.com/DjK4Yahweh

Hi there,
I don't have Tom Tom on the phone, I use Navigon.
But yes there are occasions when Navigon is telling me to come off at a junction and CA is telling me there is a camera there.
Strange thing is, sometimes they rattle off the information on top of each other, and sometimes one of them will drop out. I think it may be down to which one starts just ahead of the other.
Doesn't seem to mess up the systems though. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |
