|
|
Hi All!
I have started using CameraAlert - while playing music - on my motorbike which my mobile (Sony Xperia S - Android 4.0.4) connects to my bluetooth unit (Interfone F5). When it says a warning it has long pauses between parts.
So with the speaker on the phone (as i use it in the car - but not streaming music) it says "Mobile Camera 70 miles per hour" on the bike with bluetooth it is "Mobile Camera - 2s pause - 70 - 2s pause - miles per hour". By the time it has finished speaking I am often at the point where the camera is actually situated.
I have reduced the time by having it speak the short versions but it still has the pause between "Mobile" and "70".
Any suggestions? |

CoPilot does the same if I Bluetooth voice over the car audio, from memory the explanation was that they have to build a pause ito each section otherwise some BT audio misses the first second or so of message _________________ Galaxy Note 4 / TomTom GO : CamerAlert : CoPilot |

I wonder if it would be possible for the short versions of the voice commands to be complete sentences rather then generated? Even if they were an optioal download to save space if people didn't need them?
Or even shorter so that is simple just the speed being reported? |

As far as I'm aware CamerAlert is a complete program & doesn't have separate user configurable audio files. _________________ Galaxy Note 4 / TomTom GO : CamerAlert : CoPilot |

I had this problem only much worse on my previous phone whilst running sat nav. It was a sign that I was running out of memory on the phone because it was trying to do too many tasks. _________________ Peter

I'll second that. My old Wildfire would do the same, it helped if I rebooted the phone. I've now got a Galaxy Ace2 and (so far) have had no problems. |
