|
|
Hi all,
I'm a new member and I apologise in advance if this has been covered before but..........
Thanks to info found on this site I have been able to save the favourites from my old go910 as an ov2 file and import into poi's on my new start60, however poi's are always associated with current position or a route and limited to 50miles from that position. I would like to see all my favourites, preferably in favourites not poi's, at the same time. If this is not posible I will enter all the positions via lat/long manually as I feel that strongly about it, but, how the hell do you enter a "-" on the long?
Hope this is reasonably clear
Thanks

The older devices, and I suspect the new ones also, have a E and W button when entering Longitude. W equates to the '-'. _________________ Richard

Oldboy you are a star, completely logical and I'm annoyed I didn't think of it.
Thanks, would still prefer to import favs to favs though |

On the new models that use MyTomTom, you can import any POI file as your Favourites just by renaming it as "Favorites.ov2" before uploading it to the TomTom.
(Note it has to be the US spelling though!)
That should do what you want? _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
