Mmmm, what do those big white letters in the middle of the road spell.
The camera is well camouflaged though, and so should speed cameras. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

Oh don't you worry they put mobile speed cameras in good disguises. The last time I was heading towards Dorset there looked to be an ambulance with its doors open parked on the central reservation...guess what though..... _________________ Mike R [aka Wyvern46]

, I know I've seen the photos. Must admit I've not seen one myself. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

So the locals didn't want a rat run and now don't like it because they can't use their own rat run. Am I missing something?
A newspaper may have also included photos of the signs etc (apart from the big one painted on the road) which made it quite clear what the road was for now.

Love the quote, presumably from one of the 'locals':
‘This must bring glee to the genius who came up with the idea as they [drivers] will all be fined thanks to the hidden enforcement camera, tucked away behind a tree.’
Err, any driver blind enough not to see the BIG WHITE LETTERS printed on the road, and presumably (so the article says) warning signs on the approach wouldn't see a camera even if it wasn't hidden and was painted dayglo yellow instead of black |
