You need an image 320x240 in size, saves as a 24-bit .bmp file. Save it as splash.bmp
Rename the existing splash.bmp on your 700 to splash.bmp.old.
Copy your new image file to the GO 700 and it will appear at startup.
Alternatively download one of the many pre-made ones available. Google 'TomTom GO 700 startup image'. _________________ Darren Griffin |

VERY old devices/software versions also needed the image rotated through 90 degrees before saving onto the TomTom (due to the way the screen was addressed) so it ended up as 240 pixels wide x 320 high.
I can't remember when this got fixed (V7 software, I think), but it MAY still be an issue on your Go700 _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
