|
|
Today we have released the latest version of the CamerAlert application for Android version 1.3.5.458.
This version has the following changes:
New functionality:
- Added functionality to force audio to be routed to device speaker even when Bluetooth audio is connected
- Added a car mode option to start CamerAlert when the user enters car mode and close when the user exits car mode. This is mutually exclusive from the Car Dock mode and only one should be selected.
Fixes:
- Partial fix for Motorola Atrix colour schemes
- Fixed a media player crash
- Redlight with no speed attribute now just announced as Redlight
This should become available in the Android Market very soon. _________________ Mike Barrett

The update is offered to me via the Android Market but when I try to download and install it I get an error message to the effect that I cannot upgrade as I have not bought the software.
Does this mean that I have to pay again for the latest software.
I am using an Orange Sanfrancisco with Modaco Android 2.2 installed _________________ Jonial

So long as you bought it previously, and are signed in to the Market using the same Google account, then you should not have to pay again.
Can't help further, it's an issue for Google as we have no control over the Market itself. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Update worked fine for me yesterday - or day before.
I have trouble with the Market sometimes and have to uninstall and then reinstall the App again (not with this one yet it has to be said).
Othertimes, I go away and come back a couple of hours later and download the Apps OK.

Thank you to Darren and Bob
I do believe it is my own fault - I am sure I am not using the correct google account after I updated to Android 2.2. _________________ Jonial

Glad you are sorted.
When I read your second post, I remembered that has happened to me as well. I have a couple of gmail accounts and the Market had switched me over to the other one and I couldn't find any of my Apps.
I keep an eye on it now. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

Just a quick query before I update. Is the "added functionality to force audio to be routed to device speaker even when Bluetooth audio is connected" optional or is there no way of turning it off. I want to continue to hear warnings etc. through my BT car kit. _________________ Peter

Just checked mine, it is an optional setting under the Advanced Settings section.
mine was unchecked as standard, so if youwant it, you have to tick the box.
Best to have a look though.

Bob
thanks very much. Following your post I downloaded it and it is as you say - it was switched off as default for me too
