I have never seen any reboots on my GO1000, which the old x20, x50 units were notorious for. _________________ GO 620, Tomtom Android EU,

Not had any issues with my 1005. No reboots or such silliness.
The magnetic mount is worth the upgrade on it's own (well, nearly!) |

I've never used the magnetic mount but the active mount on the x50 works well enough so I don't think I'll be upgrading! |

I prefer the GOx40/x50 mount too.
I think the Go1000 one looks messy - the big plug sticks out far too far at the bottom.
Also, I prefer the way you just push the release button on the x50 mount with your thumb and the device lifts straight out into your hand, rather then having to tug against the magnets to pull the 1000 off it's mount. _________________ "Settling in nicely" ;-) |
