This sounds more like a mapping error. I'll let MaFt handle it. _________________ Lutz

I just rememberd the same thing happened on the beta release a few weeks ago after I had exited the 20mph specs zone on Tower Bridge. Not sure if this info helps any more.
Thanks. |

I've fixed a potential cause of this so if you update your database this SHOULD be resolved.

i couldn't find anything wrong with these ones though... did you turn off the A1M at any point or drive straight up from the M25?

I didnt turn of at any point on the A1M until Baldock Jn 9. So route was;
M25 Jn 23 on to A1M northbound. Stayed on A1M through the average speed zone of 40mph up until Jn9 and onto A505 towards Cambridge. |

EDIT: It did work on the way back home with latest cameralert update. After the END SPECS was passed, the average speed monitoring reset and I did not get the repeated "50" big circle in the screen once I accelerated to 70mph. However, I did not see the red banner "Average 50 E (xxxyds)" popping up on the foreground and did not hear the "all clear". But, I may have missed them.
So, I cannot say for sure if there is a small quirk caused by the bugfix, so I will recheck next week on my way back to work. But, the main bug is resolved, which is the main good thing.
Cheers. |
I thought I gave an update, after trying many times in the last few days.
Since updating to latest CA version the main END SPECS bug is solved.
However, I do not get the "all clear" audio warning after the END SPEC eastbound at junction 8/9 of M4. And there are no cameras after that and also I am not going slow (in fact I accellarate back from 50mph to 70mph).
Westbound, same junction, SPECS on the other side of the motorway, I get the "all clear" just fine. |

We're looking into why the All Clear doesn't sound. But it's not high on the list. _________________ Lutz

First opportunity to check these today. All of them worked fine except for the first average speed zone I encountered. The route was from Ely to Heathrow airport. Leaving Ely southbound on A10 join A14 where the average speed camera zone is then turn of A14 on to M11 heading south towards Stansted. The average speed zone continued the whole way to the A1M roadworks zone which superceded it and then canceled. The return journey through this section worked perfectly.
I was using DB version 28817.
Im going to be abroad for a week so may not be able to repsond to any questions while im away. |

The A14 westbound currently doesn't have a camera marked as 'END' - there are 2 submissions pending verification. Were any camera locations missing?
I have made the current 'last' one an 'END' camera so it kills the alerts. if the other cameras are verified then i will change the MIDDLE / END as required.

SPECS30402 is correctly marked as an end cam heading SE just before A14 becomes the M11, and 31962 is correctly marked as the end cam heading NW. All SPECS cams on the A14 are in about the right place on the map, but I didn't check them for absolute, super critical positioning. There are rumours of extending them NW, but there is no sign of this yet (I checked). I just checked the map for 'end' marking today and it's correct. Do you want me to report this in the usual place as well as here? |

The A14 cameras being referred to here are the East/West Bound stretch, just North of Cambridge, and East of where the A14 becomes the A428.
These have been put up for use in future roadworks. _________________ Richard
