HI,
Having just got an iphone 4, i have downloaded the camera alert app from itumesand have a couple of questions.....
1. The announcement voice for the camers repeats the last part of the last phrase each time it speaks?? (eg when she says all clear is comes out "all clear.....ear")
2. From the pictures on the PGPSW site i appear to be mising an average speed button at the bottom?
Also i have downloaded copilot live 8 for the iphone as a satnav app, can the PGPSW database be used in this version of Copilot on the iphone? if co would it give the same descriptions? or am i best running camera alert with the map off in the background and switching off the inbuilt safety cameras in copilot?
Cheers for any advice.
Ash.

Is your iPhone connected in-car via BT for the audio?
We're in the process of updating the manual to reflect the many changes that have been introduced into the app, the average speed button is no longer present, instead, you simply tape the average speed readout at top left of the display (which appears in a SPECS zone) to cancel it.
We would recommend you run CamerAlert at the same time as CoPilot. No need to turn the map off, it will only load it if it is in the foreground. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Hi Darren,
Currently connected via BT for calls only (soon to be audio too with new car kit)
However running camera alert this morning the echo repet has gone? i'll try it alongside co-pilot later to see if it returns?
Thanks for the note regarding the manual updates, thought i was going mad.
Cheers
Ash. |
