You can use it, but you will need to buy some Navigation software and install it first. For your Android OS you have a choice of Sygic, Copilot or Navigon, all of which can accept PGPSW's camera warnings. The free Google Nav app you have on Android cannot be used for the camera warnings, because it does not, as yet, accept 3rd Party POIs. _________________ Peter

Depends what you are after. I like Sygic because it uses the most logical interface and is similar to what I had been used to, i.e. Tom Tom. So that is what I use everyday. However I downloaded Copilot for my recent trip to the USA, because it was a lot cheaper than Sygic, and that worked fine too. I did not like the interface as much but I thought the display was marginally better than Sygic. And I have seen a recent post here saying that Navigon is very good.
You can but Copilot on the market, which gives you 24 hours to try it before you decide if you want to keep it. I also understand that Navigon offers a 7 day trial, but not sure how that works. As far as I know Sygic does not offer any trial and can't be downloaded from the market. So you could try Navigon and/or Copliot first to see how you get on with them. Both appear to be cheaper than I paid for Sygic. _________________ Peter

EZCam is what I use on my HTC Desire - seems great so far, just wish it did automated PGPSW updates. |
