|
|
Hello Everybody,
Over the last several days we had a critical problem with our server environment that caused Telmap5 to get stuck on "Synchronizing resources..." All of you who tried to use Telmap5 during this time experienced this.
First I would like to apologize for all the frustration you had trying to get Telmap5 to work and appreciate your patience.
After having both our RnD and IT departments investigate this we were able to fix the issue on Monday and since then everything seems to be running fine. I have seen several posts by our users in this forum that Telmap5 is now working for them.
It seems that the cause was a seemingly unrelated patch released on our server environment.
Following this experience, we have put in motion a process that will hopefully prevent this kind of error in the future.
I am also working on getting release notes out to you since I have seen several requests for this. Of course I will update on the forum.
Once again I thank you all for your patience and look forward to your continued feedback.
Thanks

Thanks for the info and good work on sorting the issue. Tested Telmap last night and it was working well. |

I'm using Bold 9000, the problem still same. Everytime I launch Telmap5, it gave me this error "Network connection error, please retart your application" |

Hi All
Am new here so bit unsure.
Have had all problems as described so far but have now re-loaded and system working except for receiving calls on my bb bold 9000 when navigating with this new tel map. When a call is received either bb shuts down and re-boots or freezes making a battery pull necessary in order to unfreeze.
Anybody else got this problem? |

Please help - Following the synchronising resources issue my Telmap 5 still isn't working. when I enter my activation code I get a message saying "unable to transfer activation code to further devices". I am still using the same (BB 9700) device.
I've sent several emails to support over the last two weeks but no progress I'm afraid...
Any help would be greatly appreciated as I really miss it!!
Regards

Hello,
I have today signed up to telmap 5 and downloaded it to my BB 9780.
I'm having a problem though - and I know this have been mentioned in these posting before, but how long do I wait for the "Synchronizing resources .... Please wait" message before I click on cancel?
I have re-booted my phone, checked the application setting in the manager and all permissions are set to 'allow'.
On instalation though, I didn't know whether to select BIS or BES so left it as the delfault (and I can't remember what that was).
Any ideas please chapp & chapesses
Thanks |

Hello TUG Forum,
This annoying problem has cropped up again.
Please bear with us while we try to debug it and get things running again.
I will update on the forum when this is sorted out.
Thanks

FYI - the mapping was causing my BB to freeze so I have had to delete telmap5 from my BB.
Before instalation and after deleation the BB was/is running/responding fine, but when installed everything was very slow and the map app froze - had to pull the battery to regain control.
Please let me know when the issue is resolved so I can re-install the app.
Regards,
capers. |

Hi again
Telmap5 should be working for you again.
It might do a short Synchronizing resources... - but now it should complete this phase and log in normally.
Thanks for your patience.

I have now reinstalled telmap5 and it all seems to be working fine - Thank you.
I have tried a couple of local routes and all seems well.
Over the festive period, I will have the opportunity to throw a few challenging routes its-way. |
