Did you find anywhere that sold it? After reading the reviews I'm after one now!

Thanks for that
I bought one from an ebay seller in the US in the end, took a while to get it but have it now and very happy.
Looking forward to trying it out over the next few days.

It is much better than the Totom equivalent in my opinion.

I've not used the Tom Tom in order to provide a comparison, just in terms of being able to leave the phone in its bumper cover makes it ideal for me. So far very happy and finally getting to use my pocketgpsworld app in anger

That's the deal breaker for me with TomTom's design. Having to take the bumper off each time I use it means I don't! _________________ Darren Griffin |

Does this work with the Iphone 4 or does it need an adapter like the Tomtom? _________________ Returned to a proper Garmin although still have Co-Pilot on a Galaxy S3! |

It accommodates the iPhone4. But the iPhone4 really doesn't need an assisted GPS cradle. There are much cheaper solutions worth considering if you don't need the amplified speaker and hands-free functionality. _________________ Darren Griffin |

Thanks Darren, saved me £90!!!! I already have a Kensington amplified mount so will stick with that.

Have any of you Iphone 4 and Magellan mount users experienced any odd behaviour with the Iphone?
I've been using mine for a little over a week and a half now, over the last few days I've noticed after docking my Iphone that it it makes a steady succession of short docking beeps (the noise the all iphones make when you place them into a powered cradle) and then after 2 or so minutes I get an error message from the Iphone saying that the the device is not compatible with the iphone. I don't recall even seeing this message let alone the short beep thing when I first started using it.
I haven't tried rebooting the phone yet, but may well do before tomorrow morning.

Mine reports it's not compatible with iPhone (3GS), but so did the Tomtom mount. And I always have to reconnect it to bluetooth. _________________ Dennis
