My Nissan connect has an option to show current location. When activated it gives;
1/ The city/town and street name
2/ The lat/long postition
It also gives what the manual states is the number of satelites in range. I do not think the manual is correct as this is given as a number (sometimes in the hundreds) followed bt feet e.g. 85 FT. I do not think there is that number of satelites. Have contacted Nissan but they can not explain what this feature. Any ideals? |

Another theory (mine, and just a guess) is that it could be a measure of the the accuracy of the lock, or how about height. |

I'm sure your right, judging by some of the routes it plans I don't think it knows where any of the satellites are!
