Kenwood DDX 6029 Loss of Audio Alerts

Hello,
Has anyone had this problem.
Been down loading speed camera data base for 3 years no problem using poi loader into my gamin based kenwood unit.
Having loaded the latest camera up date I've lost the audable warnings.
All visual are there.
Have asked kenwood they have no idea.
I've carried out a factory reset and checked that all proximity alerts are on.
Any ideas?

Can you do a demo route on the unit? If so, run a demo past a known camera and then at the point where you expect the alert turn up the volume. Some units have seperate volume controls for different things and you have to adjust the volume during the alert.

Secondly have you checked you have all the relevant mp3 / wav etc in the POILoader upload folder?

Can you play those mp3 / wav files on your PC?
