Hi All,
Possibly a tad too techy for this forum?, but ive recently come up in the world and finally got GPRS on my phone contract, and now im having my pop3 emails coming through on my xda every 2 hours ( flash ah! )
The only downside here, is that the scheduled emailed tasks seem to conflict badly with tomtom running, which makes the maps freeze.
I dont really want to switch off all the email account before i drive off, which has to be done individually under options/accounts and go through all the settings, but was wondering if there was a quick way to effectivally switch all off scheduled tasks or GPRS in one go?
Thanks

Just turn the push e-mail service off and instead get your e-mail when you want it by running up the e-mail application on the phone, this still gets you your e-mail when you need it and won't mess up the TomTom software - Lets face it you don't want to be reading e-mails when your driving - Mike

Im not using the Push email service and its switched off, im using the one where you set up multiple pop3 emails like yahoo etc... i think the push emails are for work outlook, yes these are the ones i definately dont want to read when driving!
Of course, i dont want to read any when driving really, the issue is actually not to have the phone searching for new ones if tomtom is on.
I thought i found a little proggy today, called NoData, which said it would turn off the GPRS accessing the net, however when the scheduled time occurred it still tried to connect and tomtom froze over again.
