Hello,
I bought this app instantly as soon as it became available. It worked fine, but then I updated the phone (to 3GS from 3G), and I cannot update the camera data base since then.
I realise I probably need to de-register the old phone and register the new one, but I am not sure how.
Help please? I am finding it difficult to find the instructions on the web site.
Thanks in advance,
W. |

At the top of this very forum are a number of Sticky Threads including a link to the CamerAlert manual. In this one it details how to get CamerAlert activated on a new handset. |

Many thanks for this pointer. I would not know that I had to look for UDID ... I did try to search support for "new iPhone" etc . before posting.

No problem. The point of the Sticky threads is they contain useful information that usually comes up time and time again. It's worth looking through relevant Sticky Threads in a forum before asking a question. |
