Is there an alternative hardwire cable i can get for the cradle from somewhere since tomtom don't do it anymore?
Thanks

Hi ordered the new carkit for the 4150. It is not generic carkit but the actual carkit that charges the pda and GPS.
I had to send it back for repair and it just arrived!
Sorry losing track here:
My point is that I emailed TomTom about the permanent ignition cable and asked them where I could obtain it from and they sent it to me for free. I then asked them about the vent clip and asked them where I could get that from and that was also sent to me for free.
So theres your answer. If you would like a copy of the email I sent them please drop me an email or private message and I will get back to you. |

Hi there,
I tried contacting tomtom on the advise of a friend of mine for a vent mount for my 2210 carkit but they said they had now run out of their final production run and the they are now discontinued
I don't suppose anyone has one they don't want do they :D |

I've just purchased a 4150 car kit and it didn't come with a lead to connect to the bluetooth gps unit which seems daft. I've sent TomTom an email.
What does the permanent lead look like? Is it possible to get a lead that will switch the gps unit on and off with the ignition? Then I could hide the unit.
Thanks! |

I tried contacting TomTom and this is the response I got:
Sorry but the BT GPS cradles and hard wiring kits are no longer produced and we no longer have any stock of these items.
Has anyone managed to get one of these from TomTom recently? |
