there have been a few suggestions to add a feature for only using the iphone speaker.
quick question: do you listen to music from the iphone at the same time or is this for when the phone is connected to car stereo/charger but you're listening to the radio?

I would welcome this feature, my car cradle has a fm transmitter built in so unfortunately when plugged into it all sounds are attempted to be routed through the fm frequency, which when im normally listening to radio and not my iphones music means I miss any audiable alerts |

yep youve got it, unfortunately if you charge on my dock (which you need to to keep running the app) all audio will be routed through the fm transmitter which is rarely used - for me anyway!
keep up the good work guys |

I would like the option because my set-up charges the iPhone and pipes all audio through the aux-in on the head-unit.
I can therefore only hear the alerts if I have AUX selected. That's fine when I'm listening to iTunes but not if I'm listening to Radio/CD.
Ideally I'd have alerts piped through the device speaker ONLY when I am not listening to iTunes. Not sure if that's possible but it would save having to manually switch selections if offered. _________________ Darren Griffin |
