|
|
I was bought a new Nuvi 610 at xmas to replace my aging Navman ICN510. I had tomtom sotware and pocketgps speed cams on the navamn and it never missed a speed camera once. However I am bitterly dissapointed with the Nuvi 610 as it occaisiaonly sails past cameras without warning me. It will show the camera on its map display so it knows its there. I downloaded and used the single file speed zoned version and use the liz whitaker voice. this was upleaed to to the garming using POI loader. I know its working because it will warn of some cameras but then will occaisionly miss one and then another time it will warn of this same camera. I cannot trust this erratic performance because i will lose my licence in no time especialy as I ride a motorcycle and cannot see the nuvi's map display because I ride with the unit it in my pocket and rely soley on the audiable instructions and warnings that i hear through speakers in my helmet.
Please can someon help. |
