When I go to the update screen, sometimes the 2 database versions listed are the same but the size is different. Why is this? Do I have the latest data or not? _________________ Alan - iPhone 5 64GB, with CamerAlert, TomTom Europe & CoPilot |

Hi Alan,
The database is added to all the time, as Cameralert users we get the benefit of this as we can download the 'LIVE' version on demand.
Everybody else can only do it on a weekly basis as the database is released on this site.
Maybe not the best explanation but I hope you get my drift. _________________ Mike

taken from the CamerAlert manual
Quote: | You may find that the database versions on the server are the same, but the sizes are different. This is because CamerAlert takes a snapshot of the live database which is more up to date than the Server release version. |
