And I'm up and running again! Thanks oggiuk.
Will try navigating with it tomorrow.
Things that I think are different
1) Startup has a progress bar rather than % (and now I remember someone else saying that on here)
2) Widgets have 'space' as the shortcut
3) There's option 'Content Portal' on the menu that I don't remember.
4) 'Make a call' is also a new option on the menu.
5) In Settings it says the access point is BES, which makes sense as the BB is on BES. I think it said WAP before.
Still no change
1) Help still no workey
2) The Green Line option is still confusing |

This also happened to me on a recent long trip. I ended up performing a hard reset of my bb9700 and reinstalling which seemed to solve the problem. However there is now a small box on the map obscuring the arrow indicating my position. This say press 6 for night mode and M to mute. I can't seem to get rid of this. |

Yes, I reinstalled from the email notifying of the new version (5) and used the code provided in that email - works a treat now and looks like it's an updated version also (instead of a percentage as it's loading up you now see a progress bar).
Happy bunny once again |

Funny thing...
just like the last version (the one that always crashed), whenever I would try to download OTA, it would always fail. but to access it via WIFI on my Bold, it goes through with no problems. I also just used the original link and activation code from the admins.
this time of course... All is well and it works like a charm! nice. |

Hi,
When trying to use again version 5.01.xx which worked in the past, I had a blank screen.
So I have removed this version, and downloaded the 5.11.28, but when starting the app for the 1st time, it stops before 50% (but no clear indication of%)and I have an error message "internal error occured, please restart application and try again".
What to do ??????? |

I don't want to sound daft but have you restarted and tried again? Done so after pulling the battery out (if applicable for your device)? |

HI Forum,
Please note that you can't do the download from your WAP browser.
Please make sure you are using the Internet browser to download and install.
THanks

Sure you have the right version (BES vs BIS)? Other than that no ideas left to try from me. |
