I already updated this morning, and then when I went to update to the new release this afternoon I got n/a against the server version available. Restarting the App made no difference.

I wondered if this was because I updated twice without rebooting as I haven't seen it before.

Anyway a reboot sorted it out just in case anyone else sees the same thing.

You probably caught the system uploading the new version of the database to the server. Wednesday is update day.

I thought that too but I was in the process of downloading for my 940 at the time Smile

Well i've downloaded the db several times today before the latest db was released. Not rebooted my iPhone once today.

When getting this weeks db, it came up first time with the correct details.

Server 8.024
Device 8.022

Updated without issue!

the 'N/A' came up once during beta testing and was put down to, basically, unfortunate timing of the attempted download. it could be either that it was at 'release' point or simply that there was a slight delay at the server due to extra downloads and the app timed out before the actual release number was retrieved.

Thanks MaFt, I only posted in case anyone else had the same issue, it's the first time it's happened to me including during Beta testing.
