It's a Beta version of Home so you will only be offered it if you have accepted Beta in your preferences.
PS I was offered it and I have a 720 |

Downloaded and installed without difficulty and connected to my 520.
Appears to be cosmetic only, but I have not had to reset my 'Kate' voice after using 'Operate my Go', as I have had to do in the past.
Updates are showing to upgrade from App 8.302, QuickGPSFix and MapShare, which I have declined so far. _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky. Now using Maps & Waze on Samsung Galaxy S4 + CamerAlert of course! |

TomTom say about this version:
* Fresh look and feel
* Improved process for installing items to your navigation device:
HOME now smartly manages internal and external memory on your device and helps you making best use of available space.
* A new Manage my device button now manages content on your device and you computer in one central location.
* If you purchased the same map for more than one device you only need to download it once.
* Windows 7 compatible
* Improved stability decreases the chance of error messages. |

(e.g. I download W&CE v830 for my 920 and can also install it on my 700 and my PDA with TTN6). _________________ Dennis

Installed this Beta version, my pc was down for 3 days, thought i had a virus,could only operate in safe mode, you cannot use the operate my go when you install this version, beware tom tom had to help me yesterday and i have asked for a refund on my live traffic subscription, looks like we are the guinea pigs and when something goes wrong we call them and give our findings, i am going to wait until they have addressed the problems. |

You have volunteered to be a guinea pig and test their Beta sofftware for them. That's the whole point of a beta programme. Tomtom are not known for good quality final release versions, there is no way that I would install any Beta release from them. _________________ Paul |

Well, I have installed it. Of course, I don't use it until you lot all say there's a new map out, so it's no problem be it Beta or whatever! _________________ Dennis
