My sat nav doesn't get used that much but does come into use on the odd occassion today.
Today I used it going to a place on the way there it was fin but when I went to use it on the retina leg.
It was coming up with
" a route cannot be calculated to your destination. Please check your routing prefrences and try again"
has anyone else had this problem and is There a way to fix it?
I'm pretty sure it's still under warrenty with then as i'm only got it last October.
Its been used 20 times max since then and stored in the house when not in use too.
I cant get a route on it at all.
Just says that message below and cannot get a route from your current location even though Its my house where it has worked from before
Any help would be great on this.
Plus Navman are pretty useless they havent got back to me.
Is there anything online that I could download and maybe restore it?
And I cant find the box or the instructions for love nor money.
Thanks anyway |

I don't know the system so this may or may not help...
Before you try to plan the journey, does it have a lock on the satellites? I don't know if it has a status screen or something that shows this (or changes main display colour etc as on a TomTom). It would be best to get the lock outside in as clear an area as possible.
Does it have a map view that shows your current location? If you are too far away from a road, some systems can't plan a journey as there's no "on-road" start position. _________________ Gerry
