Yes I know there will no doubt be something on this subject somewhere on this forum but I don't have that much time as the average age when someone dies in the UK is circa 73 and I am 49.

I am probably the most useless subscriber to this site but the cameras are worth it, as for the forums i find them as easy to navigate as platting fog.

Any how, my remote on my 920 has started misbehaving insofar as the middle button now operates a zoom facility where it used to pause my music. What have I done to it this time? any ideas please

Do you mean the button in the middle of the circle or the middle of the three above the volume control?

On mine, the middle of the three has always activated the quick menu, or if you have just one thing in the quick menu it just activates that.

The middle nipple type button. It has always been the pause music button on mine but like i said it now alters the view on the screen.

In the quick menu button on the screen I do have access to the controls for the music player, although i cannot acces the quick menu via the remote control, so i have to lean forward and touch the screen which makes the remote facility useless.

I did an update a few days ago from TTHome could that be the cause? if so how do I revert to the older version of whatever it was i downloaded. I cannot seem to find my backup!

Press and hold the middle button - that brings up the quick menu on my 920 on 8.351

If you have nothing in the quickmenu then it seems to zoom in

Can't remember what it did prior to 8.351 - but knowing TT they will have changed another feature for no apparent reason if it used to pause the music

A work around is just have the TT jukebox in the quickmenu - pressing and holding the middle button brings up the audio player, pressing the middle button again pauses the music.

Hope this helps

Unfortunately I only have a cryptic quick install guide so I can't confirm, but I thought I remembered that the centre button was a "soft" one that you could programme to suit yourself.

Andy, In my quick menu i have Jukebox,Mark Location,Add Position to Faves and FM Transmitter.
Just tried the press and hold routine and it indeed has brought up the quick menu icon for the jukebox but the FM Transmitter icon has disappeared.

If I re-instate that icon the 'switch back to driving view' in the OPTIONS menu in the jukebox becomes ticked, and the screen goes back to driving view before i have chance to hit either pause or play via the remote. I am using 8.351. any idea where i might find the previous working version.

Calomax. How I want that to be the truth. I will have a search around.

This is the link to the TT Remote site. Even they say the middle button is for pausing the jukebox

Looks like yet another example of TT just randomly changing functionality for no apparent reason.
