For some reason, and its been working fine till now, my tt7 seems to be slow, and jumpy instead of its smooth flowiing map movements.
Tried different gps but same prob.
Tried uninstall / reinstall twice and no difference!!
noticed that in 2d mode it operated fine when not routing but in 2d or 3d mode when routing its now very slow - voice is spot on with time for turns etc but the map lags behind?
Any ideas?
Tried the nav n go version on pda and that works fine? but do like tt better. especially as it warns of speed cams etc

Check how many POI files you have got enabled on in the software, this is often what causes a slow map refresh rate, disable the whole lot, you will still get warnings and can still use them to navigate to etc - Mike |

cant understand it - have reinstalled and reduced pois to just speedcams also using only the tt arrow and not my own car icon. And its still jumping is the screen!!!! only difference between when it worked okay and adding anything to the pda was an update of the speedcams which i know wont be the problem!! Noticed that my pda seems to be running slower.
Any idea's
driving me mad, sorry pun not intended! |

Only other thing to check is how many applications are still running in the background, Start/ Settings/ Memory and select applications tab, stop all might clear some memory up as WM5 and newer doesn't close the applications down very well leaving them hogging memory in the background - Mike |

If your PDA is running slower in general, then try using something like Fdcsoft's task manager to see what's running on your PDA, and how much CPU it's using.
The other thing that's worth re-iterating is that it doesn't matter how many POIs you have set to warn you when near, it's the fact that you don't want ANY displayed by default, as this will slow down the screen update massively.
Cheers,
Steve. |

Hi Mike,
Just wanted to double check what you say up here, as I just purchaed your software and I find TT7 laggy.
I can disable all POI's yet the cameras will appear anyway?
Thanks |
