Could I ask you to test one of the voice file packs available for TomTom here and let me know if they work?
I understand McGuider now supports (it may always have?) .ogg format sound files.
If it does then I can look to adding a McGuider specific page and get some installation instructions sorted? _________________ Darren Griffin |

No need to test Darren... I've been using them with 2009 (7.7) since I got it. In fact I mention this in the tutorial I wrote for you guys for adding the speed camera database.
2008 (7.5) uses .ogg files although it does renae them .wav. I never tried them with 2008 though as others said they had to be a set length otherwise they wouldn't work. |

Great. I'll probably duplicate the TomTom pages for McGuider to keep it clean and avoid confusion with install instructions. _________________ Darren Griffin |

The tutorial I linked to in my previous post also has a link to the TomTom downloads, so this may need to be changed too. I also included instructions on adding the alerts in the tutorial, so you may be able to use this if you want specific instructions on just the alerts themselves.
