I cant' work out what the text under the car icon and in the top right of the screen of my 520 is all about. ONLY on the M62 does it state: M62/DN14 on both. Also from time to time the icon in the top right, instead of a blue background its red. What is the DN14, a postcode if so why is it shown?.

Lane, Where on the M62 does this occur? I have a 520 and will see if I get the same as you with a demo route. Where from - where to?
Have you tried the journey as a demo and if so, do you get the same text? _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky. Now using Maps & Waze on Samsung Galaxy S4 + CamerAlert of course! |

Its probably the postcode that someone has used for a road connecting to the upcoming junction, done by mapshare! _________________ Tomtom GO 1005 LIVE

M18 north onto M62 West, I got off at Wakefield and everything was ok then on way back as soon as I joined M62 East I got same info. Yep it's all there on the demo via map version v715.1703. I have forwarded some screenshots hopefully they will appear soon. |

I can get the DN14 reference from the M62 (Wakefield) to the M180(Scunthorpe) which is about a distance of 35 miles. |

On v815 maps, on a demo route from the M18 onto the M62, all I get top right is "M62", then a sign for "(J)7 The North" as I approach the turn off and then "M62" the rest of the way
Going back the other way I get "M18", then as I approach the junction, "35" (for exit 35 - a bit scant information there...) then "M18" again for the rest of the way. No problems there...
Try disabling MapShare corrections to see if it goes away on yours. |

I have run a few of demo routes from Scunthorpe city centre to an address in Leeds and it took me along the M180, M181, M18 and M62. These were run at 500% 300% and 150% and that text did not appear.
I am using the 8.3 application and 815 map with 14064 MapShare correctons. My Preferences for MapShare are set to 'Medium' - verified by TomTom, from trusted sources and reported by many.
Could you ceck your preferences and maybe increase your setting to Medium, High or Strict if it is currently set at Low? _________________ Ric - TomTom 520 DEAD - Passed to the great traffic jam in the sky. Now using Maps & Waze on Samsung Galaxy S4 + CamerAlert of course! |
