We don't host such a file due to the potential security problems if such data fell into the wrong hands, assuming you work for BT there is a POI file available from the BT Internet site accessible to employees - Mike |

This has been asked for a couple of times hasn't it. Seem to remember a post couple of months back. _________________ Triumph Tbird 1700. And now a Bonnie T100. |

A laudable idea, Mike, but "security by obscurity" doesn't work, because (just as one example) there's a well-known broadband website with the words "Sam" and "Knows" in the URL where you can observe the local telephone exchange plotted on a Google map to an accuracy of a few metres! This is done for ADSL broadband speed calculations and coverage. It would take a bit of effort to draw up a set of coordinates for each telephone exchange - but there's quite probably an easier way! Dare one suggest a Google search?! |

Other than an employee of BT or someone who has very close links with the company I fail to see the need for such a POI file, if you have close ties to the company ask them and you will find the file available on there internal computer network - Mike |
