I want to replace the Tomtom mount that came with the kit - the spring is getting a bit flaky and the iPaq sometimes falls out when I accelerate hard from traffic lights etc.! So far the cable has saved it, but can't be good for the connector (or my nerves).
The iPaq has got a Compact Flash Plus expansion jacket (the one that has an additional battery), which makes it quite thick, more than the standard CF jacket.
I like the look of the Brodit ProClip system, I already use a Dashmount to hold my phone. I've looked at Handnav and the Brodit site, and I'm not absolutely clear what holder I need - what's the difference between Destinator cable and standard cable? Which is suitable for the Tomtom GPS? How about the holder, single CF slot or dual one? |

The single CF slot model is plenty deep enough for the CF+Battery jacket. Part 848320 is the one you need _________________ Darren Griffin |

Finally got through to Handnav, they say that the 848530 is the same, in that the Tomtom and Destinator cables are the same - here's hoping! |
