The project is still alive and yes there are already solutions for Smartphone and Nokia handsets available that use our data.

Any news on this, or the database for the Talex?

Wonder where the project is up to?

Have subscribed to the Camera database in anticipation. Also tried an application on my Nokia phone but there are just too many technical and practical hoops to jump through ie getting a Symbian Signed certificate, powering the phone and getting the audio output into my helmet

At the moment it is on hold. The economic situation makes the hardware purchase very costly at the moment. Have you tried the "Speedcam' app for Nokia which supports our database?

Yep, that's the one I've tried on my N95. Below is a quote from the application .pdf

Symbian Signed:
· To sign the SpeedCam application, fill in the form at:
https://www.symbiansigned.com/app/page/public/openSignedOnline.do
· To get your IMEI number, enter *#06# on your phone.
· Ensure you select all the Capability information check boxes.
· On completing the form you will shortly receive an email. Click on the link
within to confirm.
· You will then shortly receive another email containing a link to download the
signed module.

When I tried submitting my completed application 'nowt happened (submit button did not work)

I realise that this is nothing to do with PGSW but wonder if anyone else has had any luck

I will try the author for further assistance but what a shame the hardware solution is not progressing

I've never used it but there are a large number of subscribers who do hence our provision of a dedicated download for it.

What about this, does it help:

H'mmmmmmm ... looking good so far - must go and find me a camera and see what happens! Wonder if the camera warnings will be output via the phone's audio out jack?

Many thanks

Can I ask that any discussion of the Inforad partnership takes place in this thread to keep it organised.

We already have a number of disparate thread and it'll help keep any info in one easily located thread.

Thanks.
