Although I'm a bit unsure about whether the media would be prepared to pick up on robbery and pickpockets, etc - they can do outrageous things, but still sometimes seem strangely shy of genuine stories nearer home - how about producing an up-to-date version of some of the shennannigans discussed here, if they still have a punch?
I'm thinking particularly about the Derbyshire police's wheeze with that blue (or was it white?!) van with all the builder-type props on the windscreen shelf and the concealed camera. A para on this, without specifying the force, (plus photo??) would surely make an attention-grabbing article as to what goes on, and highlight the value of the PGPSW discussion forums, as well as the database. _________________ David

SAVE MONEY ON FUEL
Can't be a bad headline these days
I use my pocketgps downloads of Asda & Tesco fuel station pois. With an Asda credit card giving 2p/litre discount at the pump and Tesco 5p/litre discount vouchers, I can always route to one of their filling stations. You'll usually find Asda is the cheapest around anyway.
A follow-up, although I'm not sure how to get across what a POI is for the non-converted, could be WE DO MORE POIs THAN CAMERAS |
