There is a wee app kicking around on certain sites that allows full use of the TOm TOm package on the internal GPS on the N95
Its called GPsd. Basically it tricks the tom tom into thinking you are using an external.
It creates a virtual bluetooth device.
Boot up time is fast really so by comparison to my expectation of the app.
accuracy is within about 20 feet which is fine for my use. This may possibly be just the N95's receiver itself rather than because its running this app.
Speed is super accurate.
Word of advice before using the Tom Tom on the N95 turn off the accelerometer as this causes the thing to crash the app as it tries to re orientate that screen |

| It works on the Nokia 6110 as well. |

I didn't even know my N95 had an accelerometer, or is that sentence only applicable to the 8Gb model? _________________ Tim |

All N95s have an accelerometer built in - there are loads of apps out there now that make use of it (the auto landscape/portrait one) light saber one, NokMote etc, some official Nokia ones - check out the bouncy ball for demo-

apisto,
How do you install and use GPsd on the N95. I have found GPsd on gpsd.berlios.de but it would seem I need something else to use the GPsd outputs. |
