Just saw TeleAtlas mapping van parked near city centre. And I've been sending quite a lot of mapshares from my city for last 6 monts. A coincidence ? |

Close but no cigar

I live in Poland, the part of Europe, where TeleAtlas was catching up with coverage. They had around 60% in 7.05, 70 in 7.10, 75 in 7.15 and 100% in 7.20.
But the only thing that has changed increased was basic attributed coverage (ie. stree names).
The house number is still around 50% since 6.xx maps.
My city has only stree name coverage, no house numbers, so I wonder if the van was doing exactly this.
Anyway, assuming they did took the house numbers today I wonder when the map with house numbers will show up in TomTom.

I guess Kichu can just tap on the door of the van and hand over his changes on a piece of paper. Sorta like cutting out the middle man! |

I wonder how many times the van has been spotted in Guam. _________________ Tomtom Go 720.
